You might say it was out of this world.

The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra scored another hit with its second Summermusik concert on Saturday, dubbed “Celestial Voyage.” The space theme was timely as Americans await the first coast-to-coast total solar eclipse in 99 years next week.

It was entertaining to have Dean Regas, the astronomer for Cincinnati Observatory, providing commentary between numbers, as well as some fantastic high-definition images from NASA to accompany a new work entitled “Kepler’s Cosmos.” Afterward, audience members lined up at telescopes outside to see views of Saturn in the night sky.
