EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Evan Gidley

Evan Gidley has served as Executive Director of Summermusik since May 2022. In this role, he is responsible for planning and executing the orchestra’s annual Summermusik and We Are One Festivals as well as special projects such as September 2023’s historic Walk with Amal. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Orchestra Personnel Manager with the Columbus (OH) Symphony Orchestra, where he assisted in leading the organization’s robust community outreach program. Evan received his MM in Saxophone Performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, and he remains active as a freelance saxophonist.

Lisa Yunker

Lisa Yunker is honored to be a part of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra and contribute to the continued growth and success of the distinguished organization. Her enthusiasm for Cincinnati’s urban core development provides a strong foundation for supporting the CCO’s dedication to uplifing the entire community through the power of music. She is a lifelong Cincinnatian and a UC alumna. One of her favorite things about Cincinnati is its abundance of unique performance venues offering world class entertainment and cultural experiences.

Kari E. McLean

Kari E. McLean is a Communications Management Professional^Ⓡ who now lives in Oxford. Since returning from Chicago, she’s had the pleasure of working briefly with a handful of arts organizations including Music of the Baroque (Chicago), Oxford Community Arts Center, ArtsWave, Cincinnati Arts Association, and now Summermusik/Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. A former theater professional (stage management, directing) Kari moved over to the more lucrative side of communications. She received her CMP^Ⓡ  designation from the Global Communication Certification Council, and is focused on learning Accessible Communication and AI.
