A genius of science, mathematics and art, Leonardo da Vinci exemplifies the term Renaissance man. To mark the 500th anniversary of da Vinci’s death, the CCO presents an evening of music + visual arts, featuring his most famous works brought to life by one of the top percussion virtuosos of our time.
Percussionist Nebojsa Jovan Zivkovic will perform Vivaldi’s dazzling Concerto in C Major arranged by Dame Evelyn Glennie and premiere an original composition based on da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” Throughout the performance, visual artists from Liquid Video Solutions will wrap the hall in da Vinci’s most famous paintings and drawings, creating an immersive experience that will enhance the musical performance.
Don’t miss this invigorating evening where music meets visual art!
