ARCO Session: Your Brain on Music

Experience Your Brain on Music as a nontraditional quartet from the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra performs arrangements of music that surprise, challenge, and satisfy the brain. DJ Apryl Reign will spin an overture drawn from works by Glass, Satie, Bach, and Schumann. Then, Apryl will join the quartet for a unique rendition of Ravel’s Boléro, a masterpiece of musical obsession and repetition whose relentless structure has fascinated neurologists and music scholars for decades.
